Our Board of Directors

Michael Paul

President

I have been competing in Multisport events for 10 years. Started by participating in local runs, Sprint and Olympic distance Triathlons and then did my 1st Ironman in 2009. Triathlons give me a direction in this crazy world, helping me create personal goals, dreams and stay focused on things I really care about. I have learned to handle defeats and get out of personal holes. Ironman is more than simply results and statistics, it's about the journey: the personal challenge, commitment, perseverance and the determination to achieve your goals. It's about shared adventures and experiences that enrich your life and define who you are.

"No regrets."

Scott Kohls

Vice President

I did my first triathlon in 1982 and have participated in hundreds of events over the past 30+ years. I enjoy training for and racing in Olympic distance age-group triathlons around the country. My "A" race each year is USAT Nationals. Mentoring people new to the sport is very rewarding. It's a wonderful lifestyle, one that I enjoy sharing with others regardless of age or experience.

Balancing family, work and a multi-sport obession has been challenging at times, but I've tried to stay grounded in what is important. My faith and family are most important to me and they help me keep things in the right perspective. If so blessed, I plan to stay active in the sport for many years to come.

As a newly elected member of the Green Bay Multisport team, I am very happy to now be an ambassador for the team in an official capacity. We have a tremendous opportunity to share our passion of multisport to so many in the Green Bay area. The benefits of the triathlon lifestyle go way beyond being fit and healthy. It's really about people. Being part of the GBMS team offers an ever expanding circle of very positive relationships.

Brian Bulkowski, USAT Level 1 Coach

Treasurer

I have been involved in triathlon since 2006 after being inspired by Jon "Blazeman" Blais, an athlete who completed the 2005 Ironman World Championships with Lou Gehrig's disease, or ALS. Having lost a family member to ALS, Jon’s story got me off the couch and into the multisport lifestyle.  Since then, I have participated in both local and national races from sprint to Ironman.  I am also a USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified coach, and enjoy sharing my passion for the multisport lifestyle with members and athletes of all abilities.

Brian JP McWilliams MS, LAT, CSCS, USAT Level II Coach

Member-at-Large/Team Coach

Originally got into the sport of triathlon at UW-Madison. Took several years off and once I moved to the Green Bay area about ten years ago started to get back into the sport. Have competed in local and national races from sprints to the Ironman distance. Started Coaching about 5 years ago and started McWilliams Training, LLC 3 years ago. I believe Triathlon is not a sport but a lifestyle and it is lined with some of the nicest and best people. Looking forward to helping out with GB Multisport and assisting in it's growth in the next couple of years.

At Large

I became involved with the sport of triathlon and GBMS in the fall of 2011 when I signed up for IMWI 2012 and started working with Coach McWiliams. I participated in my first triathlon in May of 2012 and took a wrong turn on the bike course and subsequently got lost. I have always been a self-proclaimed gym rat and prior to my adventure into triathlons I was a certified personal trainer, completed 10 marathons, had a brief but brilliant stint as an MMA fighter, and spent several years as a barefoot runner.

I am a small business owner by day and am married to fellow GBMS member and Ironman in training, Stephanie. We live in Allouez and have a dog named Charlee.
