DC tri camp
What an eventful weekend for GBMS. The first of the DC tri camps was a huge success with over 60 people showing up to run, bike and swim the course! We are looking forward to another great weekend on the 7th of July.
Minocqua Open Water Swim
Race report by Dan:
I tried to represent GBMS well and as you can see myself and Jenny,my support team, were sporting our GBMS shirts. The Race was Sat June 23rd at 9am. I placed 2nd in the 40-49 age group and 8th overall. About 80 people participated. I even managed to fit in a hill run after the race- I didn't want to skip my door county training!! I got back in time to see the last swimmer named Ryan Stewart finish. He was given an award called the Olivia Clark memorial award- given to the swimmer who showed great spirit, sportsmanship and love of the outdoors. Ryan suffers from MS but still was able to complete the swim. Truly an inspiration. It was a well organized race and alot of fun. Hope more GBMS members will join me next year!

Eau Claire Trail Run
Tom competed in a trail run in Eau Claire this past weekend. He placed 1st in his age group bringing home some hardware for Green Bay Multisport. Tom had a heart attack just two months ago and has been doing an amazing job recovering!
Manitowoc Marathon
Three of our members competed in the Manitowoc Marathon this past weekend. Ann Senn had a great time traveling the shores of Lake Michigan, Eric put down an amazing time and Stephanie competed in her very first full marathon. Congrats to all!!
