June 14th at 9AM. Meeting at swim shelter parking lot used as the transition area.

Gather by 9 AM  & please arrive in time to be in your wet suit & at the swim beach by 9:30am.

Our goals for this training day are to get our club members comfortable with the venue by:

Answering Questions about race day and packet pick-up.

Discussion about the swim and wave starts. Getting in an actual open water swim. (weather permitting)

Having a T1 & T2 talk and possible demonstration of how to speed up your transitions.

Going with GBMS members on a ride of the actual Half or Olympic bike courses.(weather permitting)

Going for an actual run with fellow GBMS club members on a marked course. The Half distance is just double what the Olympic distance has to do. (weather permitting)

GBMS will have bottled water and snacks available to participants.

Reminder: If you do not hold a 2020 WI State Park sticker and plan to park at High Cliff to train or race a one day parking fee will be applied.  The park staff DO CHECK and DO TICKET vehicles not displaying a sticker or one day pass.
